What training courses do I need to take?
All Team Managers and anyone who will be on the field or in the dugout is required to complete an ABUSE AWARENESS Training course, a HeadsUp CONCUSSION course, and the Little League DIAMOND LEADER Training Program. For player safety, all training must be complete before stepping on the field with our young athletes.

How do I complete the Little League DIAMOND LEADER Training Program?

What should I do with my certificates once I've finished my training courses?
Please upload a digital copy of your Abuse Awareness and HeadsUp Concussion certificates to Sports Connect via LittleLeagueInverness.com. This can be done under the Volunteer section found on the left side of the screen.
Then, print out a copy of each certificate (there should be 3 in total)and place it into your team folder for future reference.
How long is this training good for?
CDC Heads Up Concussion Training: valid for 3 years
Diamond Leader Training Program: never expires
Abuse Awareness Training Course: valid for one year, expiring annually on October 1
Parents turned in medical forms to me, what should I do with them?
Please take a picture of each medical form and email it to [email protected], we may already have a copy but this serves as a confirmation that we all have the same details. After you have emailed the league, place the medical release forms inside your folder in case of emergency. Don't forget to bring your folder with you to all games and practices.
